Final Photos - Time

With these images I was trying to portray how time affects every aspect of our lives and the environment we live in. Time is an important tool in everyones lives and I was trying to show this message through my images.

For my first image I wanted to show how small things such as traffic lights can set us back by hours. With adding the black and white affect to this image I think it emphasises this point.

For my second image I wanted to show how as people are lives are in a constant rush. We are either in a rush to appointments or work etc. With the blur motion added to this photo. The car apears to be moving at speed.





For this image I wanted to show how time not only effects use but the environment around us. Plants grow and die around us all year without acknowledgement. the plant in this photo shows this growth.


For my final image I wanted to show how man made things can eventually become forgotten with time. This image shows the detail of the rust that has built up over time. The broken branches and the time also show this.

For this image i wanted to show space in a traditional way. using the sun to influence the image.  

Technical- For this i used a high depth of field to show space and slower shutter to let the light of the sun in the image.

For this image i wanted to show the weight of the bolt in a conventional way.

Technical - for this photo I used shallow depth of field to make the bolt the main and only focus.

My idea behind this photo was to show the space between the two magnets although the attract they will never touch 

Technical - for this photo I chose to uses a high aperture to let more light into the image. Through doing I was able to show a slight dynamic range on the magnets themselves.

For this image I wanted to show heavy in a different and abstract way by capturing the image of this building on a angle. this relates to heavy as buildings are made of heavy material. 

Technical - for this photo i used a medium aperture and a slow shutter speed to create a soft image. 

Glass

For this image i used a empty bottle to represent glass.

Technical - For this image i used a high aperture to create a shallow depth of field. This created a main focus on the bottle not the background. 

Time

For this image i wanted to represent time through objects and plants. 

Technical - For this image i used a slow shutter speed for shallow depth of field and slightly changed the focus for a slight blurred image.
